Penarth Ladies Hockey Club

The First XI play in the Premier 1 Division of the South Wales League, where we have won the League on numerous occasions. We are currently League Champions, Welsh Cup winners and will represent Wales in Europe for 2011.

The team focus is to maintain and develop our exciting and attacking style of play for the coming season and to achieve our goals of performing to our highest standard in both Europe and the domestic league.

We are always looking for new players to join us and enjoy the experience of playing for Penarth!

The second team at Penarth Ladies Hockey club currently competes in South Wales Premier 1 division along with the first team. As a club and team we encourage committed and enjoyable hockey with every member playing a vital role throughout the season.

Our targets for the forthcoming season are to finish as high in the league as possible, to score more goals and to concede less goals compared to last season. The second eleven take all of their hockey seriously, especially in our league games against the first eleven!!

The 3rd team has secured promotion in 2009/10 to compete in Division I of the South Wales League. We formed about 6yrs ago to fulfil our growing youth sections need to develop competitive match skills. We have worked our way up the divisions with a well balanced team of youth and experience and aim to consolidate our position in Division I. Players frequently progress through to the 1st & 2nd teams, so we are always happy to welcome new members.
